The Alpha Phi House: Fall 2006

Upon leaving home for college, I never would have pictured myself joining a sorority. Ha! Watching movies like “Legally Blonde” where a million girls live in the house and have their hair and nails done to perfection made me sick.

At Marquette, Greek life crept up on me. I became more and more open to the idea of joining a sorority after meeting two Alpha Phi’s my first semester. I have never made a better decision in my life than joining Alpha Phi in January 2004. I now live in the house and love it. These girls in my house are far more than roommates or fellow club members; they are my best friends, my sisters.

I would not trade living in the house for the world. Next year, we plan to move around the block to a house that will hold over double the number of girls that live in now. I cannot even begin to imagine the great memories to be had with my sisters in the upcoming year.
