The Spirit of Marquette Award is one of the most prestigious awards any student organization on campus can receive. In order to be honored with such, an organization has to be nominated and then chosen as one of the top organizations by a joint student and faculty committee and passed on to Father Andy Thon, who makes the final decision.
Traditionally, between one and three organizations are given this award.
Last spring, Alpha Phi was honored as the first and only social Greek organization on campus to ever receive The Spirit of Marquette Award.
