Founders' Day: Fall 2006

When you think of joining a sorority, you usually think of all of the events at college, the philanthropic events, the all Greek events, and duh, the socials. But what happens when you graduate? Is sisterhood for only four years? No, its for life.

As past Director of Alumnae Relations, I thought I had a grasp on what it meant to be an alumnae. However, I did not truly understand the meaning of being an alum until this year’s Founders’ Day Dinner. A group of Marquette Alpha Phi’s went downtown for a night of food and fun and we wound up making friends with some amazing women whom I learned so much from in a matter of hours.
